These are steps we’re taking to keep our team, customers and guests safe
Our Team
Every team member has undergone an extensive training programme delivered by CPL Learning and the Institute of Hospitality, ensuring they’re ‘ready to serve’ adhering to all government guidelines to keep themselves and our guests COVID safe. Training reviews will be ongoing.
Checking-in and social distancing
Minimising contact and increasing protection at check in and bar with Perspex screens, keeping social distancing measures in place and hand sanitisers are available all in public areas. All room keys, tables and chairs will be sanitised between guests. Tables will be socially distant and table service strongly encouraged. Customer flow direction will be clearly marked as will entrances and exits.
Hygiene and anti-viricidal sanitising spray
More frequent cleaning of high touch points, such as card keypads, door handles and handrails with approved disinfectants to the European standard of EN14476, effective against COVID-19. In the bedroom, we’re paying special attention to cleaning radiator controls, TV remotes, door handles, light switches, kettles and bathrooms.
Housekeeping
Our housekeeping team have always been passionate about achieving the highest standards of cleanliness. You can rest easy knowing we have done everything possible to ensure a comfortable and safe stay. We are also carrying out additional checks on rooms and guest toilets to ensure the highest possible standards.
Bed linen and towels
Laundering all our linen at over 60 degrees, with disinfectant detergent so you can enjoy a safe and great night’s sleep. We’ve also removed all extra pillows and throws.
Protective equipment
To protect our team members we’ve provided them with PPE equipment including gloves, aprons and hand sanitiser. Whilst there is no government guidance on the need to wear face masks in a hotel / pub setting, all our teams have been provided with face masks, empowering them with the choice if they wish to wear them.
